The African Children's Choir came to chapel yesterday! They were amazing, I loved watching their performance, especially the little ones who didn't stop smiling the whole time. Real, joyful smiles because they were just having a good time. It was the best way to start off my Wednesday. You should check them out here :)
A little job searching update: In case you missed it, I am searching for a nannying job. I had one phone interview, but decided that the family lived too far away to be worth it, so I'm not in the application process for that one anymore. I have a few other applications that I've sent in using care.com and sittercity.com, so I'm waiting to hear from those. I also have a friend who is going to give me the contact info for how she found her nanny job. I don't need a job urgently, so this waiting process is totally fine right now, and I know I'll find the right fit for me soon.
I found a really awesome study spot. Kylie is jealous; she said it was like heaven. Here is the not so nice phone quality photo I sent her:
It is most wonderful, and I know I will spend many an afternoon there.
I have my first performance with Gospel Choir tomorrow! I am so excited, it's going to be a blast. The Alumni Association is hosting chapel outside in the plaza, and we are leading three worship songs and two gospel songs (which are also worship, of course, but these are gospel worship songs that we are performing). I will talk more about Gospel Choir in another post; spoiler alert: I'm in it. I will try to get Ema to take a video of one of the songs so I can share it on here.
I updated my About page last week, if you haven't seen it yet. The other pages will be filled up with goodness very soon :)
According to my blog stats, this little blog has been has been viewed most in the US, second to Costa Rica, and has one view from Germany. I don't think I know anyone in Germany...
